Waste to Energy /Biomass Technology
Energy demands worldwide will not be met by fossil fuels alone in the future because there is a limited supply of these fuels and atmospheric pollution associated with the fossil fuel industry is no longer acceptable. There is an emerging biofuel industry that will partially offset the need for fossil fuels, but there are a number of unknown environmental and economic consequences associated with land use for bio-energy production.
Biomass is showing great promise as a source of energy to replace fossil fuels being consumed in today's world. It has the potential to yield fuels that burn cleaner than existing sources of energy and yield more, renewable energy.
N3 Global involvement includes the development of biomass projects and establishing partnership with local communities that will create employment and job opportunities for a substantial number of jobless residents, many of whom were previously-unemployed women and youth.
